Covid-19 Safety Precautions

EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2022. Masks will be required for anyone entering HC Salon and Day Spa

HC Salon and Day Spa understands that in the midst of the current global pandemic our clients want to ensure community safety for all. At the same time, everyone wants to look their best as they cautiously return to a new normal, everyday life, while following the State of New Hampshire’s mandates.

Please note, no walk-in services are available at this time.

HC Salon and Day Spa has implemented these specific protocols to make the salon a safe environment for both our clients and staff:

  • Masks are required for all clients and staff

  • AuLinx Ultraviolet Germicidal Lamp with ozone sterilization

  • Ship-Shape Comb and Brush Cleaner to clean combs and brushes

  • Barbicide Disinfectant Cleaner to disinfect combs, brushes, stations, chairs

  • Two Alen Air Purifiers to remove bacteria and viruses

  • Alen Air Purifier to remove chemical and odor

  • Plastic shower curtains to separate both shampoo and nail stations

  • Plexiglass walls to separate all stations not six feet apart

  • Plexiglass between the manicure stations and tables

  • Plexiglass wall at front desk

  • Hand sanitizer available at every station

  • Daily temperature checks for all employees

  • Seven stylists to serve seven clients in the salon at one time

  • Staff will wear masks in the salon and face shields when shampooing and waxing

  • Staff will wear gloves while performing manicures and pedicures

  • Everything touched by staff and clients is sanitized Barbicide

HC Salon and Day Spa will follow these procedures for all appointments:

  • The door to the salon is locked at all times except for client entrance and exit.

  • Clients are to call the salon upon their arrival, and stay in their parked vehicles until a staff member comes to the door to let them in.  On warmer days we suggest running the vehicle’s air conditioning while waiting.

  • Before entering the salon, a member of the staff will take the client’s temperature.

  • Clients will be asked if they have experienced any of the common Covid-19 symptoms within the last two weeks. If not, clients are required to sign a waiver stating that fact.

  • Clients will be asked to sanitize their hands upon signing the waiver.

  • Clients are required to wear a mask at all times.  If clients do not have a mask, one will be provided.

  • Do not bring any extra belongings into the salon.

  • Do not bring anyone extra to the appointment, as we have eliminated all chairs in our waiting area.

  • No coffee or water will be offered at this time, however, clients are welcome to bring a drink with them.

HC Salon and Day Spa thank our clientele for being understanding and patient as we navigate the State of New Hampshire restrictions and safety procedures. It is important to us that everything is safe and clean, both for our staff and clients, and we will continue to take the mandated steps to ensure everyone's safety for as long as necessary.
